Candidates for 2022 Annual Parish Election selected

The Nominating Committee met in January. The committee consisted of Lisa Smith, chair, Tristan Bultman, Missy Condo, Norris Daniels, Stephen de Francesco, Patrick Kidd, Marc Rice, Marcy Sendax and Anne Strassner. Brenda Husson served ex-officio.

This year, Richard Brown, Medora (Dolly) Geary, and Robert Stinson will each have completed their first three-year term as Vestry member and, eligible for a second term, have each chosen to stand for a second term.  Hugh Boston, who will have completed one-year of his second three-year term will step down as he completes the year in May.  Jennifer Charrington is completing her second two-year term as Warden and has chosen to stand for a third and final term as a Warden.

The Nominating Committee presents the following slate for the St. James’ 2021 Annual Parish Election:

For Warden:

    • Jennifer Charrington

For Vestry Member:

    • Richard Brown
    • Ying Garcia-Bory
    • Dolly Bross Geary
    • Justine Keithline for two-year term
    • Bob Stinson

Under the By-laws, within three weeks after the nominations are posted in the parish house, any person qualified to serve as a candidate for the office of Warden or Vestry member, who shall present to the Vestry, or have presented on his or her behalf, a petition that his or her name be listed as a candidate for such office signed by at least twenty persons eligible to vote at the Annual Parish Election, shall have his or her name added to the ballot as a candidate for such office.
