Osborne Association: Share the Joy is Saturday, December 17

We need volunteers! | On December 16, we need help decorating the church basement to create a magical space for the following day’s Share the Joy party. On the 17th, volunteers will help greet, find gifts, and spread some cheer to youth who have an incarcerated parent. Follow the link below to sign up to help, and contact Eloise Williams with questions.

Refugee Supply Drive

In the past few months, more than 11,000 asylum seekers have passed through New York City’s shelter system. They’ve come from Latin America, Africa, Ukraine and beyond; and all having suffered some kind of trauma and in intense need. We’re doing a supply drive in partnership with WIN family shelters to help support our newest neighbors in this city. We’re collecting canned goods, rice, pasta, tomato sauce, peanut butter, jelly, baby wipes, and more. Donations can be left in the 3rd grade classroom, the atrium, or at the front desk. Please contact Eva Suarez for a complete list of needed items, and with any questions you might have.

Additional volunteers needed for the meal programs

Please contact Co’Relous Bryant or Eloise Williams if you are interested in serving either in the kitchen or as a host welcoming guests inside Coburn Hall.

Samaritan’s Closet—clothing donations and volunteers needed!

Consider donating new or gently-used winter coats, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants, sweaters, men’s and women’s shoes, warm hats, and scarves to the Parish House during operating hours. Contact Eloise Williams with questions.
