Nursery

9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

The Nursery is open for ages 0-2. The same two caregivers are there to greet and love your little ones every week.

Toddler & Primary Classes

9:05 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.

The Toddler Class (2-3 year olds) and  Primary Class (4-6 year olds) gather each week for a combined chapel service, led by one of the clergy, with lively singing, age-appropriate homily and prayers. The Holy Eucharist is offered on the 4th Sunday of the month.

After the chapel service, the Toddler Class returns to their classroom. The Primary Class continues with music, snack, lessons and crafts.  For Children’s Eucharists (normally the 1st Sunday of the month), the Primary Class students attend worship with their parents.

Worship

9:10 A.M. - 10:10 A.M.

Children in 1st grade and older worship with their parents each week. The 9:10 a.m. service especially welcomes children and families and offers several opportunities for children and youth to participate actively. Each Sunday, children in grades 3 through 12 serve as acolytes; those in grades 5 and higher serve as lay readers; 8th through 12th graders serve as ushers; and 7th through 12th graders lead the prayers. Children 4 years old and older are encouraged to be a part of our incredible Children’s Music program, Depending on level, Children’s Choirs sing as regularly as every Sunday and as infrequently as once a month.

The first Sunday of the month is usually the Children’s Eucharist, though sometimes holiday schedules move that to a different Sunday. The children’s choirs lead our worship, individual classes lead the prayers of the people, and all the children are invited sit on the floor for a homily geared toward our youngest parishioners. Children in the Primary Class also attend this service with their families.

For young children attending the 9:10 or 11:15 a.m. services, worship packets are always available at the rear of the church and focus on teaching the Gospel lesson of the day.

Church School

10:15 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.

Church School is offered for children toddler class and older. We are blessed with a teaching staff with countless years of experience. We use the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum which is lectionary, arts and worship based.

Parents are invited to grab a cup of coffee in the Parents’ Room, Donegan Hallway, or Sunderland Hall, enjoy some conversation, and to join the Sunday Adult Forum in Coburn Hall or the Parenting Forum twice a month in the Parents’ Room at 10:30 a.m.
