At Christmas and Easter, St. James' hosts a Eucharist and festive luncheon for older parishioners and those who have difficulty getting to church on a regular basis. A guest may bring a family member or an aide, and transportation is provided if necessary.

At the 11:00 a.m. Eucharist, the congregation remails seated and Communion is brought to parishioners in their seats. Following the service, a luncheon is served in Coburn Hall, with fellowship and singing. Volunteers are the hosts of the luncheon which is planned by the Pastoral Committee.
