Church School Offering: Each year the Church School Offering goes to help children in need in the United States or around the world. Please pick up a box of Children's Offering envelopes from your Church School teacher.

First Sunday Food Offering: At the 9:10 a.m. Children's Eucharist on the first Sunday of the month, families are encouraged to bring their offering of food which has been requested by the Yorkville Common Pantry for the month. At other times, foods may be left in designated baskets in the Narthex.

Children and their families are encouraged to participate in many more of the mission activities of St. James', such as serving in the homeless shelter, taking part in activities with the Partners in Mission Ministry for Children, and the various collections of food, toiletries, and other gifts for communities that are in need.
