Bread for the World
Bread for the World is a collective Christian voice urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. St. James’ assists Bread for the World in its mission by participating in “Offering of Letters” workshops. In 2008, the workshops focus on asking Congress to pass the Global Poverty Act that would coordinate U. S. assistance to meet the Millennium Development Goal to halve extreme poverty by 2015.
