The Community Festival is a parishwide event in May that raises substantial funds for community outreach and
offers a wonderful occasion for fellowship among parishioners and our neighbors. If you're a newcomer,
the Festival is a great way to get to know our parish family. Last year the Festival raised more than $100,000,
which was divided among the St. James' Grants Committee and Episcopal Charities of the Diocese
of New York. These grants help to support a number of agencies serving New York City.
Wild Wild West is this year's Community Festival theme. The gala will be held Wednesday, May 9, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Register online.
The Spring Boutique will be open on the 9th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and again during the evening event. The popular Antiques & Treasures is part of the Boutique, and will re-open on Thursday, May 10, from 9 a.m. - noon.
Other, smaller events throughout the year add to the Festival's fundraising efforts. This year, these include the Children's Pumpkin Festival in October, The Second Time Around Sales in November and May, and the Christmas Boutique in December.
