Brenda has been Rector of St. James' since 1996. As such, she serves as the principal preacher at Sunday services. Her position has involved her in the development of most of the parish's ministries, and she especially enjoys leading Bible studies with parishioners. 

Brenda was born in Syracuse, New York and received a B.A. from Beloit college in Beloit, Wisconsin. She received her M. Div from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where she has lived since 1977. Her hope is that all who come to St. James’ will find this to be a parish community in which to develop and deepen their personal relationship with God in Christ and discover their gifts so that they may bear witness to their faith in the world.
