Confirmation is the sacramental rite by which we reaffirm baptismal vows, and receive strength of the Holy Spirit through prayers and laying on of hands by the bishop. Confirmation is also the way to officially become an Episcopalian. (If you have already been confirmed by a bishop in the Roman Catholic Church or the Lutheran Church, you may be received by the bishop at the same confirmation service.)

Now is also the time to tell your friends; confirmation class is a great time to join the Youth Program at St. James'.
